Match #1: “Hangman” Adam Page def. Wheeler Yuta
My Thoughts: This was a hard-hitting, well-fought match that at once showed that Adam Page is really ready for his rematch against Jon Moxley And that Wheeler Yuta has actually learnt from his time with the Blackpool Combat Club – Yuta kept his high-flying moves in play but backed them up with the more “strong style” work of Moxley and Danielson. Which actually meant that this was probably the best tune-up match Page could’ve had going into this week’s Dynamite!
My Score: 4 out of 5 Match #2: Jeff Jarrett, Satnam Singh & Jay Lethal def. Best Friends (Trent Barretta and Chuck Taylor...

Over the summer, All Elite Wrestling has faced a string of injuries to top talent including its world champion Cm Punk. Tony Khan saw this series of unfortunate events as an opportunity to give emerging stars the time to shine. And rather than vacate the Aew title, the owner also decided to crown an interim champ through a tournament won by Jon Moxley. He’ll defend against the inaugural Aew champion Chris Jericho on the August 10 episode of Dynamite, themed as Quake on the Lake. Khan, who believes both men are at their best since signing with the company, looks forward to the show kicking off busy weeks heading into the September 4 tentpole All Out and September 21’s second annual Grand Slam. The enthusiastic leader expects to finish the second half of the year on a high note with a stacked roster and celebrating exciting milestones like the first-ever Aew video game.

It’s Monday morning, so you know what that means… it’s time for our review of Friday night’s episode of Aew: Rampage, which this week featured Tony Schiavone, Excalibur and Jim Ross on commentary, so let’s get to the review!
Match #1: Jon Moxley def. Mance Warner
My Thoughts: This was a drag-down, knock-out fight. Mance Warner promised a fight and that’s what both men delivered. Moxley made Warner look badass, giving him room to show his stuff to the Aew crowd and fans not familiar with his time in Mlw and on the indies. This match was also given plenty of time to tell its story, with small subtle actions from both men really giving this opener some depth.
My Score: 4 out of 5 Match #2: Konosuke Takeshita def. Ryan Nemeth

It’s buzzing right now, and it’s booming! I feel really special to be part of the ride from the day one.” The Aew franchise features shows such...

"In Mma, anything can happen." Screen Media has debuted an official trailer for an Mma fight film titled Cagefighter (not to be confused with The Cage Fighter doc film), written and directed by Jesse Quinones. Another of these cliche fight movies where it's about a champ going up against a rival. Reiss Gibbons is the greatest champion to ever fight in a Legends cage. But when promoter Max Black pits him against wrestling superstar Randy Stone, Reiss finds himself in the toughest fight of his life. Starring Alex Montagnani (Pro Mma Fighter) as Reiss Gibbons, Jonathan Good aka Jon Moxley as his opponent Randy Stone, along with Gina Gershon, Chuck Liddell, Elijah Baker, Luke Rockhold, Jay Reso, and Georgia Bradner. The big twist in this is that it's a professional wrestler taking on a professional Mma fighter, but it's still the same anyway. Train hard and take him down. Here's...

Yes, Seth Rollins heard that “Talk Is Jericho” podcast with Jon Moxley — aka Dean Ambrose — and Vince McMahon’s current Universal Champion found the former Shield member’s complaining about his years in WWE to be “a little presumptuous.”
“I think it’s a little presumptuous of him to get on a podcast and talk down about the company that gave him such opportunities,” Rollins told “Si Media Podcast” host Jimmy Traina on Monday ahead of USA Network’s “Raw.”
The podcast was published on Tuesday.
“I don’t think there’s any reason to — again — hop on a soapbox and complain after the fact,” Rollins added. “You need to take the first step and that’s looking in the mirror and asking yourself, did you do every single thing you possibly could to make yourself and your situation what you want it to be.”

The Shield — Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose — reunited one last time Sunday at WWE pay-per-view event, “Fastlane.” Their final triple powerbomb was saved for Baron Corbin, who so, so, so deserved it.
Watch what is being billed as — and may actually be — the last Shieldbomb ever:

WWE Superstar Dean Ambrose is set to leave the pro-wrestling company when his contract expires in April, WWE tells TheWrap.
“Dean Ambrose (Jonathan Good) will not be renewing his contract with WWE when it expires in April,” a spokesman for WWE said in a statement. “We are grateful and appreciative of all that Dean has given to WWE and our fans. We wish him well and hope that one day Dean will return to WWE.”
WrestleMania 35 takes place April 7 at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. It is expected that Ambrose will leave after the event, which is the culmination of WWE’s “season,” though the Vince McMahon-led promotion did not immediately offer a clarification on Good’s specific end date.

It’s a new day, yes it is. Three-man WWE tag-team The New Day did not survive the opening match of Sunday’s “Survivor Series.” Fellow threesome The Shield just dropped the opposing trio — some members from greater heights than others. The “Monday Night Raw” representatives conquered the “SmackDown Live” one in pretty killer fashion — just ask Kofi Kingston’s back. And neck. And whomever will have to help him walk to and from the bathroom tonight. WWE legend Kurt Angle, the current general manager of the pro-wrestling promotion’s flagship television series “Monday Night Raw,” is set to return to in-ring competition this weekend after an 11-year hiatus. Angle, who was made a playable character in the Tuesday-released “WWE 2K18” video game, will replace Roman Reigns in Sunday’s “TLC” main event, joining Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in a 3-on-5 handicapped match against Braun Strowman, Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus and Kane. Additionally, A.J. Styles will replace Bray Wyatt in a match against “The Demon” Finn Balor. Both Reigns and Wyatt...

Another month, another Wesley Snipes film. He sure is on the comeback trail now right? Ok, maybe not, especially given that this, like Final Recall, has headed direct to DVD. To be fair though, the “another month, another…” could also apply to WWE studios, who seem to have gone back to churning out direct to market films much like when they first stepped into the world of film production. Following the usual standard of having one of the many WWE Superstars take a break from the wrestling ring and appear on-screen, Armed Response features the “Kingslayer” himself, Seth Rollins, in a supporting role – yes, a supporting role. Unlike ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, Dolph Ziggler, John Cena, Randy Orton, The Miz, and hell, even...
