Tina Makharadze is a Georgian filmmaker, actor, multidisciplinary artist, and activist based in New York.
She received professional acting training at Shota Rustaveli Theater and Film Georgia State University, from which she graduated with a BFA in Theatre Arts.
Tina gained widespread fame in Georgia for her title roles in the Georgian TV shows The Girl From Suburbs and My Wife's Girlfriends. Her social activism has had a profound impact on Georgian society. In 2017, she was awarded a full scholarship to pursue her MFA in Film Directing at Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema. Her work has been shortlisted for the Sundance Horizon Award, and her sophomore year feature film project, Patiko Simpatico, was an official selection at FidLab - FIDMarseille 2020.
