Mercedes Marie Daugherty was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri.
As a child, Mercedes always loved to entertain. At 8 years old she
performed in a talent show with her sister, Autumn, and friends as The
Spice Girls. At Oak Park High School she was involved in Choir,
Forensics, competitive interpretation, and Theatre. The Comedic Duo
Interpretation category was her forte as she placed in many
competitions with her friend Sarah Jackson, in "The Bo Show".
In the 2007 Theatre For A Cause production "Heaven Can Wait" she played Bette Logan and won "Best Supporting Actress" in a Full Length Play. Her first leading role was in the 2008 Theatre For A Cause production "Kindertransport" as Eva Schlesinger.
She has trained at The Front Range Acting Studio and is working in multiple markets.
