[Warning: The following post contains Major spoilers about Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2.] There’s still a lot to of dangling threads to weave together before the end of Cobra Kai. The Sekai Taikai has officially turned into an international disaster — and a deadly one at that. Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) is questioning everything he knew about Mr. Miyagi, whose legacy has always loomed so large for his life. And Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) has surprisingly stepped into the fray to protect his own former sensei slash father figure — a far less benevolent one, of course — by stopping Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) from outright killing John Kreese (Martin Kove) in the middle of the melee. Plus, Robby (Tanner Buchanan) and Tory (Peyton List) need to work through their emotional strains, and Miguel (Xolo Maridueña) has to adjust to being a big brother as they’re all (hopefully) college-bound. With so many plot points in play, fans of the...

This article discusses spoilers for the five episodes of season six part two, right up until the final moments of the finale. If you’ve seen the new episodes you already know, and you want to know something before the final episodes of Cobra Kai come in 2025.
We also discussed Sam and Victor’s Day Off, the spinoff they are producing about the valets from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

Will Netflix’s Cobra Kai Get Renewed For Season 7? (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Over the years, Cobra Kai has become one of the most popular shows on Netflix. The series is a sequel to The Karate Kid franchise and continues the story of Daniel Larusso and Johnny Lawrence. The martial arts comedy-drama recently finished airing the second part of its sixth season. This has left the audience wondering if and when there will be a Cobra Kai Season 7. Here is everything we know so far.
Is There Going To Be Cobra Kai Season 7?
Unfortunately, Cobra Kai will not be returning with a seventh season. The show is set to end with its sixth season. The decision was announced upon the renewal of Season 6 in January 2023. The show was not canceled by Netflix; instead, the makers wanted to end the show based on the storyline.

Spoiler Alert: This article discusses plot details from the Season 6 Part 2 finale of “Cobra Kai,” now streaming on Netflix.
Cobra Kai never dies. Until its students do.
The final season of Netflix’s hit dramedy “Cobra Kai,” itself a spinoff of the “Karate Kid” franchise from the 1980s, is split into three installments. Part 1 was released on July 18, with Part 2 now streaming. Part 3 will arrive in early 2025.
This second chapter of the final season brings the Miyagi-Do dojo to Barcelona for an elite international karate tournament known as the Sekai Taikai. The finale to Season 6 Part 2, an episode aptly titled “Eunjangdo” — and you’ll see why — features a title match between Miyagi-Do’s Robby Keene (Tanner Buchanan) and the Iron Dragons dojo’s Axel Kovacevic (Patrick Luwis).
Axel, brooding and muscular in his 6’3″ frame, towers over Robby as the fight begins. Miyagi-Do’s captain quickly tires himself out through...

Miyagi-Do is preparing for the fight of their lives, but the timing of the Sekai Taikai couldn’t be any worse.
In the Season 6, Part 2 premiere of Cobra Kai (all five episodes are now available on Netflix), the dojo is an absolute mess. Sensei Larusso is completely thrown by the many lingering mysteries of his mentor, Mr. Miyagi, while Sensei Lawrence seems equally on the outs, trying but struggling to fully accept the teachings of his former foes.

[Warning: The following post contains Major spoilers for Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2.] From the moment the Miyagi-Do kids step foot into Barcelona in Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2, it’s complete chaos for the crew, and they seem poised for an embarrassing defeat against their new foes. Cobra Kai’s own Kwon (Brandon H. Lee) emerges as one of the biggest threats to their chances of victory thanks to his torment of team captain Robby Keene (Tanner Buchanan). However, in the final moments of Season 6, as the entire tournament devolves into a massive melee, with students and senseis alike in battle, everything changes. Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) uses the chaos to make a move against John Kreese (Martin Kove), who’s bringing a knife to the fight but loses it in the ruckus. After Kwon kicks Sam (Mary Mouser) in the chest while she defends Robby, her German admirer decides to step up and avenge her himself. After...

When Netflix launched as a streaming platform, one of the most thrilling innovations was making whole TV seasons available at once. At first, these were older shows that had already aired in the traditional fashion, and had been licensed from the studios that produced them. But when Netflix started making its own original series, those would also premiere every episode of a new season simultaneously — waiting a week for your story to continue was a relic of the 20th century!
Soon, however, the downside of having super-users marathon six or 10 or 13 episodes in a weekend became clear: Publicity and social media buzz around a new title quickly burned itself out, and both high- and low-quality shows turned into an undifferentiated mass of content, constantly achurn. In more recent years, Netflix tried to put the content toothpaste back in the tube, slowing down the episode drops for select titles — a few...

Plot: At the Sekai Taikai, Miyagi-Do faces new challenges and old enemies as they fight to become world champions — can they stay united as internal rivalries bubble back to the surface?
Review: When the first five episodes of Cobra Kai‘s final season debuted in July, I was underwhelmed by the repeated retread of familiar storylines. Cobra Kai VI, the lowest-rated season of The Karate Kid spin-off series, has only premiered a third of its final season so far, leaving ten of the fifteen chapters to debut. The second batch of episodes continues where the first left off, setting up a showdown at the Sekai Taikai tournament between Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai, along with some other competition. Once again, Ralph Macchio and William Zabka are a charismatic pairing, whether on opposite sides or the same one. However, the middle section of Cobra Kai’s final season still feels like it...

Cobra Kai season 6 part 2 is now streaming on Netflix. There are five new episodes of the hit Netflix original series for fans to watch. I binge-watched all five episodes of part 2, and I have to talk about the season 6 part 2 ending.
It is absolutely the most insane ending of a Cobra Kai episode since... probably ever. It's even wilder than the Cobra Kai season 2 finale when Robby (Tanner Buchanan) almost killed Miguel (Xolo Maridueña).
Spoilers ahead for the ending of Cobra Kai season 6 part 2 episode 10, "Eunjangdo."

Miyagi-Do might feel a little overwhelmed in Barcelona upon arrival to the Sekai Taikai tournament.
Part 2 of the final season of “Cobra Kai” is all about the international Sekai Taikai tournament, and after a rocky selection process back in The Valley on who’d be attending the final squad was set. The roster looks like this: Robby (Tanner Buchanan) and Sam (Mary Mouser) are the captains joined by Miguel (Xolo Maridueña), Hawk (Jacob Bertrand), Demetri (Gianni DeCenzo), and Devon (Oona O’Brien).
“Cobra Kai” showrunners Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg told TheWrap that the team makeup and uptick in overall skill makes Miyagi-Do underdogs once again.
“We’ve seen them kick a lot of ass in The Valley, but on the world stage now you’re seeing fighters that are a lot more experienced and have been on that world stage themselves for a while,” Hurwitz said. “In the first five episodes,...

The last season of Netflix’s popular martial arts show Cobra Kai will start on November 15. The actor Yuji Okumoto promises that his character Chozen will have an interesting story. In upcoming shows, the character must decide how to balance his personal goals with his dedication to Miyagi-Do martial arts.
Okumoto said in a private talk that Chozen is still looking for happiness in his personal life while also taking care of his duties. One of the actors said, “He has a lot of unfinished business in Okinawa.” The main theme of his story will be putting young fighters’ training first, especially as they prepare for the Sekai Taikai competition.
“When we see what happens to him on his journey, he realizes now that the focus needs to be on the present, which is training the kids,” said Okumoto. This change is a big deal for Chozen, who has...

Decades after their legendary 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament clash, Johnny Lawrence and Daniel Larusso find themselves on opposite ends of life’s spectrum. Production on the sixth and final season of the hit Netflix series Cobra Kai, a continuation of the Karate Kid film franchise, was delayed several months due to the writers and actors strikes last year – but the extended wait was worth it, because the show is wrapping up with a 15 episode season (previous seasons consisted of 10 episodes) that has been split up to make it a three part event. The first batch of episodes dropped back in July, and the second batch of episodes are set to begin streaming on November 15th. Johnny Lawrence, Daniel Larusso and their students are headed overseas to compete in the international Sekai Taikai tournament in a new trailer for “Cobra Kai” Season 6 Part 2, which will drop on Netflix on Nov. 15.
The trailer shows the group landing in Barcelona, Spain and the group entering the doors of the karate competition, where they’re set to face off against 15 other teams. In addition to new rivals, Miyagi-Do will also deal with the fallout of Tory Nichols (Peyton List) defecting to Cobra Kai, while also fighting to stay united as internal rivalries bubble to the surface.
“We’ve heard all this garbage going around about loyalty. Almost all of us are trained somewhere else at some point,” Lawrence says in the teaser. “What matters is where our asses are now. We’re Miyagi-Do and we’re not losing. So wipe the smirks off their ugly faces.”

Since then, “Cobra Kai” has settled in nicely at Netflix. It’s a reliable series, though not an all-timer.
Now, in the Season 6-b trailer released on Wednesday, the Miyagi-do and Cobra Kai dojos head to Barcelona for the Sekai Taikai tournament. From Valley champs to world champs? Demetri (Gianni DeCenzo) doubts it.
“There’s no way we can win,” he says in the trailer.
Spoiler alert: There probably is a way.
On the bad side of the mats, Sensei John Kreese (Martin Kove) is fighting free.
“Some of us have nothing to lose,” he reminds Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio).

Netflix just released the first batch of photos from Cobra Kai season six part two. The new photos show Miyagi-Do out of the Valley and onto a bigger stage at the Sekai Taikai. The photos also provide our first look at Sensei Wolf, played by Lewis Tan (Deadpool v. Wolverine).
“We left off with the big surprise that Tory has joined Cobra Kai, so we’re in the aftermath of that with everyone reacting to what just happened, while also trying to get their footing –– as the new kids on the block –– of this giant international tournament that has been going on for decades. They have no idea what’s in store for them,” says series co-creator Jon Hurwitz to Netflix’s Tudum.

When James Gunn was brought on by Warner Bros. to revitalize the Dceu, now rebranded as the Dcu, everyone anticipated significant changes, and those changes are indeed underway.
Although the Dcu hasn’t officially launched yet, we already have a wealth of information about upcoming projects to look forward to and discuss.
Regarding Batman’s universe, Matt Reeves is developing his own trilogy and related works, which will likely exist separately from the main Dcu. This opens the door for the possibility of two Batmans coexisting, which is quite intriguing.
While Reeves’ universe may not include a Robin, Gunn’s Dcu is likely to feature the character, especially with the recent announcement of a prequel animated film titled Dynamic Duo, which will delve into the early lives of two future Robins.
Though the film will be animated, many fans are speculating about who could be cast as a live-action version of Robin,...

When James Gunn was called in by Warner Bros. to fix the Dceu, now titled Dcu, everyone expected there would be a lot of changes, and that is happening. The Dcu hasn’t even officially started, but we already have tons of information about upcoming projects we can enjoy and discuss.
As far as Batman’s universe is concerned, we know that Matt Reeves is working on his own trilogy of films and connected works. But it seems that this will remain separate from the main Dcu, which means that we could potentially have two Batman at the same time, which is interesting.
And while Reeves’ world will likely not feature a Robin, Gunn’s world probably will. Especially after we received news that a prequel animated film, Dynamic Duo, has been confirmed.

It’s been two weeks now since fans of Netflix’s super popular series Cobra Kai have been able to watch the first part of the three-part final season (the first five episodes of season six have been viewed worldwide 24.3 million times since the July 18 release, per the streamer).
And in the five episode-premiere, it initially appeared there would be peace in The Valley of Los Angeles between Danny Larusso (Ralph Macchio), Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and the various kids of their respective karate schools. But as events and rivalries typically go in this world of high school angst with black belts, peace received a flying kick out of the dojo.
But that simply meant more thrills to come, according to Cobra Kai’s creators Hayden Schlossberg, Josh Heald and Jon Hurwitz. The Hollywood Reporter recently caught up with the trio to talk about the upcoming Part 2 (dropping Nov. 15) and...

The comedy-drama series, Cobra Kai, is a great watch for those who grew up watching The Karate Kid films by Robert Mark Kamen. The television series tells the Karate Kid narrative from Johnny Lawrence’s point of view who is played by William Zabka. One of the most prominent parts of the show has been its bullying, something that almost every kid at West Valley High School has experienced.

[Warning: The following post contains Major spoilers about Cobra Season 6’s first five episodes.] The kids are not all right, but they are in Barcelona trying to make a go of it at the Sakei Taikai — some of them anyway. After a contentious first third to the final season of Cobra Kai, peacetime is pretty much over for the Miyagi-Do family, but they’ll have to get along long enough to make it through the world tournament, at least. Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) are on the outs again after joining dojos, and Tori (Peyton List) has now defected to Kreese’s (Martin Kove) team after losing her mother and having her determinative fight against Sam (Mary Mouser) cut short. Not only does this put her at odds with Sam, who she’s been tip-toeing around all season to make nice, but it also puts her on the opposite team from her beau Robby (Tanner Buchanan). ...

The final season of Karate Kid sequel series Cobra Kai has been split into three batches of five episodes. Here’s a trailer for the first one, out this month:
When Cobra Kai premiered on YouTube Red back in 2018, few would have guessed quite how popular the show would become. What began as an affectionate, ‘by the fans for the fans’ legacy show grew into a behemoth that has become one of the biggest shows on Netflix.
What makes Cobra Kai so successful is that creators and writers Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg give Ralph Macchio and William Zabka – reprising their roles of Daniel and Johnny – real character development and story arcs. All while mixing returning legacy characters like John Kreese and Terry Silver with the young cast of karate rivals.
The likes of Yuji Okumoto, Elisabeth Shue, Sean Kanan, Robyn Lively and Tamlyn Tomita have returned across the five series so far.

The senseis and students of Miyagi-Do karate-chop wood, dodge beer bottles, and compete one-on-one to prepare for the karate world championship in a new trailer for Cobra Kai. And naturally, tensions are running high between longtime rivals Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawerence (William Zabka). “The Sekai Taikai Tournament is coming,” Johnny says in the trailer. “Now is not the time to puss out.”
“Our strength is we teach both styles equally. Don’t jeopardize that balance, man,” Daniel reminds his former rival.
“Since when do I run shit by you?...

The “Karate Kid” story just won’t stay down on the mat.
On Monday, Netflix released the trailer for the first part (of three!) of the final season of “Karate Kid” sequel series “Cobra Kai.” There’s kicking and punching and board-breaking (and one 4×4 karate-chopped in half) and all of that, but the preview’s cliffhanger teases the uncovering of Mr. Miyagi’s buried secrets. And we do mean buried — they’re in a clearly constructed crawl space under the floor in what appears to be Daniel-san’s (Ralph Macchio) dojo. There’s even a giant non-flush pull ring on top. We guess the Larusso’s never vacuumed.
Speaking of, what is next for Miyagi-Do/Cobra Kai/whatever the hell they’re calling themselves these days? Well, after several films and five seasons of television across two streamers (“Cobra Kai” was originally a YouTube Red series), we’ve finally moved on from the All-Valley Tournament.
