Hai Le(IV)
- Actor
- Stunts
- Additional Crew
Hai is a Writer/Performer from London, UK.
He was born in Hong Kong on October 26th 1985, at the same time his parents were escaping the war-torn Vietnam, ending up in an immigration camp in Kowloon. At just one month old, Hai moved to London.
His love of film and cinema growing up saw him starting his acting/stunts career at the tender age of 15. Starting off working on student films, getting what would turn out to be vital on set experience, Hai never envisaged his hobby would lead him to where he is today.
Hai's biggest break came when Sarah Franzl, assistant stunt coordinator for Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron gave him a role working as a stunt performer on the smash hit film, working directly with Chris Evans.
In April 2016 he managed to get on Spotlight, and two weeks later, got his first professional job playing the 'hero' role for a Renault commercial (all without any representation from an agent!). Since then, Hai's Spotlight CV has gone from strength to strength, working on a variety of exciting projects.
In July 2021, Hai got inducted into the British Academy and has been rewarded with a full voting BAFTA membership. He now joins an elite group of members who votes on the British Academy Awards.
The screenplays that Hai's developing are;
'Fundraised' (Comedy-Drama), 'The Secret Gardeners' (Drama), 'Metropolis Underground' (Action-Drama), and 'Deptford Seniors' (Comedy-Drama).
The first ever screenplay he wrote; 'Fundraised' - won Wild Child's script writing competition. Part of the prize was a writing mentorship with Oli Lansley, where he is developing a TV script and a theatre play script.
