Actress, singer, dancer, choreographer and director, Alexia Gourd was born in Montreal, Canada. As an actress, she was trained in Los Angeles at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Theatre . She also has a college degree in classical musical (voice) from the prestigious Vincent-d'Indy school of music in Montreal. Some of her stage credits include the award-winning musical Mary Poppins that ran for two years in Montreal and Quebec, Hairspray and Sister Act, directed by Denise Filiatrault - Funny Girl at the Segal Centre, directed by famous Canadian director, Peter Hinton & the brand new Canadian musical Prom Queen, directed by Marcia Kash. On TV, she was seen in shows such as Clash, Juste Nous Deux, Les Poupées Russes, 30 Vies and Le Gars des Vues. On the big screen, she played Julianne Latulippe in the movie Sur Le Rythme (Dance On The Beat), directed by Charles-Olivier Michaud. She is also a professional dancer and a choreographer and has had the chance to perform across the world.
