Metzler is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter. Her plays, including CRY IT OUT, ELEMENO PEA, CLOSE UP SPACE, CARVE, and THE MAY QUEEN, have been produced Off-Broadway and in theaters across the USA (and London). She is a proud alum of The Juilliard School and NYU Tisch, where she earned an MFA in Dramatic Writing. Originally from Kingston NY in the Hudson Valley, Metzler is now based in Los Angeles.
