Mikie Beatty is an actor, writer and producer who grew up near Lake Tahoe in northern California. His stage career began at Sacramento's Music Circus, playing in repertory for the summer season at 8-years-old, leading as Little Joe in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." He studied Classical Acting at the University of California, Santa Cruz. His first stage production was with Dir Aaron Posner, in "As You Like It" for Shakespeare Santa Cruz. Soon after found his first television credit in Los Angeles as recurring host for the Disney Channel's "Disney 365." He won notoriety for his performance in the popular short film "Stealing Time," created by Michael Tucker and Alex Calleros. Since, he has worked extensively in commercial, network television and film. More recently he joined the immersive theatre world, finding the intimate and powerful style to be extremely refreshing storytelling in live spaces. In the fall of 2023 he won acclaim for his role as Zero in The Exodus Ensemble's touring production of ZERO in San Francisco. He loves the outdoors, particularly New Mexico, southern Colorado and his home in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Other passions include snowboarding, river raft guiding, trail running, climbing, poetry, photography, good music and the open road.
