Clinton Jones(V)
- Sound Department
- Music Department
An admitted tech/gear addict, Clinton unknowingly began his career in sound as a musician. During these years, the one thing he always wanted to do was record his performances and rehearsals. This led to a chain of events that eventually got him behind a live sound console and the rest would forever be different. Clinton started out as a self taught live sound engineer and then, after deciding to go to audio school, the world of post-production and game sound opened up like a magical portal with the soft, golden glow of the future and the sound of an angelic choir beckoning him to never look back.
Upon completing school, Clinton was fortunate enough to land at the top of the game industry food-chain, Blizzard Entertainment. Building on a solid foundation from school, he quickly earned the respect of his colleagues and spent the next 3 ½ years pushing himself to be the best he could. 2014 would be a highlight year that began with an M.P.S.E. Golden Reel award for his contribution to StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm. Clinton left Blizzard to work freelance and begin working with Formosa Interactive in 2015 and subsequently Technicolor in the middle of 2016.
Clinton lives in southern California with his wife and 4 children.
