Joe has worked as a writer/photographer, moved into the printing industry, ran several photography studios, and ran a successful graphic design business all before getting into video in 1991.
As a photographer, Joe learned to develop his own film, print mount and frame his own prints, and run a photo studio, keeping the dark room stocked and set up a studio for portraits, product, and food photography.
While in the printing industry, he designed projects, ran a typesetting machine, ran a graphic arts camera, key lined projects, made his own negatives and plates, ran the press, and did bindery. He stripped up to 6 color flats and printed multi-color projects.
As a filmmaker, Joe has filled about every production position on a film or TV project. He accrued 69 credits on 55 titles in ten years. That's five or six films a year on average.
