A. J. Teshin is a SAG/AFTRA session singer and professional musician in Los Angeles. He sings on movie, tv scores, radio spots and produces classical vocal music recordings under the artist name The Teshin Company. Teshin studied
voice at the Hartt School of Music and earned a BFA in musical theatre
from the Boston Conservatory of Music at Berklee. He has worked under Maestros
Gustavo Dudamel, Grant
Gershon, Eric Whitacre, John Rutter, Charles Dutoit, Michael Tilson Thomas, Bramwell Tovey, Juanjo Mena, Lionel Bringuier and Jessica Cottis. A few years ago, he sang on several
infectious "$5 footlong" radio and TV spots for Subway. His vocals are
on several volumes of the best selling relaxation music series Liquid
Mind by composer Chuck Wild.
As a chorister, he has been employed with the Los Angeles Master Chorale, Tonality, deAngelis Singers, LA Choral Artists, Jouyssance, and the orchestras New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, the LA Symphony, Les Sauvages Americans, and the New West Symphony. TV Appearances include Castle, Star Trek Enterprise, MTV Video Music Awards, and The Dope Show music video by Marilyn Manson.
