Brynne Taylor Beams, was born December 22, 1988, in Ruston, Louisiana, to Lana (née Skains) and Todd Beams. She is of Scottish, Irish, and Polish ancestry. Brynne grew up in Winnfield, Louisiana, until her family relocated to Magnolia, Arkansas, in 2003.
She graduated from Magnolia High School in 2007. Brynne turned down scholarship opportunities across Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas to attend Southern Arkansas University. While in college, she was on the cheerleading squad, an active member of Sigma Pi fraternity, and involved in both the Theatre and Digital Cinema programs. After graduating in 2013, Brynne attended Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana, to pursue her MA in Theatre. While at Tech, she began taking stage combat classes under Mark Guinn. Also during this time, Brynne took advantage of the burgeoning film opportunities in Shreveport, Louisiana, to gain experience as an extra on big budget sets. She continued to work on sets across Arkansas and Louisiana over the next few years. In 2020, Brynne started the Borderline Problematic podcast with her longtime friend Jenni Santana.
