Los Angeles based filmmaker Samantha Baugnon was born and raised in Austin, TX, and studied acting at the prestigious Paramount Theatre. She took on the film industry as an actress, contributing to projects like Big Little Lies (2017) and the Oscar-Nominated film The Greatest Showman (2017). Before long, she was ready to branch out and take on producing. She worked with writer/director Niki Koss on multiple projects, including Night Night (2021), her first feature producer credit. In 2021 Samantha joined Koss at her production company, K Factor Films. Since joining the team, she has worked on various award-winning music videos, short films, and Homeschooled (2024), a feature-length documentary on the intriguing world of homeschooling. Samantha's films have been featured at major film festivals in the U.S., Spain, France, and Italy. Prepared to conquer another phase of entertainment, she recently co-wrote her first film and is preparing to sell the project.
