Mike 'Wally' Wallach
- Sound Department
- Production Manager
- Director
Mike Wallach was born and raised in New Jersey, but always had the
heart of a New Yorker. Born Michael Samuel Wallach, he acquired the
nickname "Wally" at a young age while at summer camp.
Mike attended Jonathan Dayton Highschool, and interned as a production assistant for producer Brad Fuss. It was during these summers interning he gained an interest in film and media production. After being rejected from his dream school, Emerson College, he instead enrolled at the School of Visual Arts where he would go on to studying writing, directing, producing, and then sound recording.
After graduating SVA, Mike has become a full-time freelancer as a Sound Mixer/Boom Operator, and continues to pursue his own writing, directing, and producing projects on the side.
Mike sites his inspiration as a filmmaker primarily to the works of Quentin Tarantino, David Fincher and Christopher Nolan, with a more than high respect for big-budget heavyweights like Michael Bay.
