Sam was born in Portsmouth, England.
Since graduating from the University of Teesside, Sam has spent the majority of his career working in Visual Effects. The most notable projects Sam has worked on include; Interstellar, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Rush and Inception.
Sam has recently finished directing his first short, Destroyer of Worlds, alongside his wife and Visual Effects Producer, Sophie Dawes (Cullen).
