Ingrid S. Clay was born in Lafayette, La. Growing up Ingrid was a
regular in school plays, dance recitals and talent shows. Even then she
loved to perform. After a few years in Corporate America Ingrid made
the decision to leave in order to pursue her acting full-time.
From there, Ingrid made the move to Los Angeles and has been gracing the stage and screens ever since. Working as an Actress and Writer Ingrid's short film "Simone," which she also produced won "Best Short", was nominated for best screenplay, and she was awarded "Best Actress" for her role. She was also voted "Best Actress" audience choice, at the Playhouse West Film Festival. Ingrid also made her directorial debut at the Festival where her short received many accolades. She currently works one-on-one with famed Director, Martin Donovan, and she is studying and working hard at her craft under the tutelage of Robert Carnegie and Jeff Goldblum at Playhouse West.
