Erica Bardin - is a writer/performer whose recent work, the dark comedic pilot Shepherds won the Audience Award at SeriesFest, premiered at Dances with Films, and won Best Episodic Screenplay at the Santa Monica International Film Festival. Erica is a 2022 Film Independent Episodic Fellow for her pilot The Deed, which she is currently adapting into a feature. She was also selected for the inaugural Women in Film/The Black List lab with the written pilot of Shepherds.
Erica's entrée into content creation was through journalism. After receiving her Masters in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California, she produced a variety of digital content including SportShorts, a parody series of sports news shows. During that time, she teamed up with Susan Graham to form 5150 Productions, creating Natural Hazards, a winner of best comedy by the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE). They went on to create 2 Girls 1 Cop for Comedy Central, write for Netflix's My Little Pony/Equestria Girls and maintain consistent feature development with several notable production houses. Erica can be seen on stage performing standup at various theaters around Los Angeles, including the Improv, Flappers, the NiteCap, and the Pack Theater.
She has a vast experience in social media, rooted in her storytelling and comedic skills and has created and strategized on content for a variety of clients including the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences, LMFAO, Party Rock and several high profile individuals.
