The first week of Big Brother 19 might be the craziest one yet. During the first Hoh of the season, Cody had to nominate five different people -- Jillian, Megan, Alex, Paul and Christmas. And after Megan self-evicted, Alex won the Power of Veto and Paul used his Pendant of Protection, it was just

1 | Could Iron Fist‘s Danny have been any more inept, any slower, in convincing Joy and Ward of his identity? Also, after several days wearing the same dingy clothes — and that was on the heels of his long journey back to America — how riiiiipe was Danny smelling by the time Joy found him on her pristine office couch?

Trust “Mr. Robot” to eschew the conventional approach to everything. For decades, it hasn’t been uncommon for popular TV shows to release tie-in novels, continuing the adventures of the U.S.S. Enterprise or the Tardis in print form. But what creator Sam Esmail and show writer Courtney Looney have just achieved is something truly unique.

“Mr. Robot: Red Wheelbarrow,” the only official tie-in novel for USA’s Emmy-winning drama, is tricky to describe, as the hardback (and badly singed) handwritten composition notebook brings with it a unique spoiler dilemma. Technically, the book serves as a bridge between Seasons 1 and 2 of the series — hence its official “filename,” which classifies it as “eps1.91_redwheelbarr0w.txt” (bonus points, by the way, for making the file type “.txt”).
But pretty much right from the beginning, one of Season 2’s biggest twists is spoiled,...

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about shows including Power, The Last Ship, Mistresses and American Gothic! First, a special Olympics interlude:
1 | Which accomplishment made you feel lazier: Ashton Eaton’s decathlon gold medal or sprinter Usain Bolt’s successful defense of his Fastest Man Alive title?
2 | How disheartening is it to see half-empty stadiums as the athletes compete? (And no, we’re not buying any of the organizers’ explanations. They went to get food… and never came back?)

Well here it is, my Top 15 films of 2015. If you’ve ever read one of my end of year lists, you’ll know that my choices tend to be a million miles away from the mainstream; and this year is no different! This year has been Amazing for films, I could easily had penned a list of 52 films – one for each week of the year – but instead I managed to narrow down the choices to 28 films quite swiftly. However, to hit this years target of a Top 15 (for 2015 geddit?) it took a hell of a lot of work. I think this list even surprises me – there’s a number of films that going back over the 508[!] films we’ve reviewed here on Nerdly in 2015, at the time I reviewed them, I didn’t expect would stay with me till the end of the very end of the year. Oh, and...

Showing some love to one of her biggest supporters, Katy Perry invited a lucky fan to accompany her to the 2013 American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (November 24).
The "Firework" hitmaker discovered Megan Squire, a cheerleader from Verrado High School in Buckeye, Arizona who has Down Syndrome in a video submitted to her "'Roar' With Katy Perry Contest."
Although her school did not win the contest, Megan was offered an even better prize. Miss Perry was so moved by Megan's determination to become a cheerleader, that she invited the teenager to be her guest at the big award show.
"I want to be bring Megan to a special event this fall with me as my date... It's going to be very exciting," Katy explained to Megan while announcing Colorado's Lakewood High School as the winner of the contest last month. "I just want to celebrate her and hear her roar in person.

She came at the behest of the hitmaker who learned about Squire in a video submitted to her "'Roar' With Katy Perry Contest," the grand prize of which saw Perry stage a live concert at the winning high school, which aired on Gma. While Megan's school didn't win, the teen earned one heck of...
