Last week we were lucky enough to chat with some of the cast of The Chosen Season 4. If you missed those interviews you can click this handy link to be taken to all of our The Chosen content including The Trailer, interviews with the rest of the cast and the premiere interviews.
Today the interviews continue as we get to chat to Amy Bailey who plays Joanna in the show and David Amito who plays John the Baptist; Jesus’ cousin. Now I must apologise to viewers after David gives an incredible answer to one of my questions about a certain scene in episode one of the show only for me to get distracted by Ninja the cat who decided that he (or she) wanted to be a part of the interview.

Here’s a first look at Moe Dunford (Vikings) and Kate Dickie (The Witch) in James Kermack’s action thriller Knuckledust.
Camille Rowe (Now Is Everything) also stars. In the pic, after the police are called to take down an elite underground fighting den, they get more than they bargained for when they discover seven levels of hell, filled with the dead bodies of multiple fighters, assassins and goons, with just one bloodied man still breathing. They have 90 minutes to find out if he’s the lone survivor or a multiple murderer.
Kermack (Hi-Lo Joe) wrote the screenplay and is reuniting with producers Julien Loeffler and Fabrice Smadja at Featuristic Films, with The Project producers Laurent Fumeron, Daniel Goroshko and Rodolphe Sanzé.
Film is being made in association with OneWorld Entertainment, Trigger Films and Onsight.
WTFilms is handling sales. Project is filming now in the UK and wraps on November 30.

Do the ratings for the Vikings TV show matter to the folks over at History? The series saw another big drop in the ratings last year --- down 28% in the demo and 44% in viewers -- but the cable channel renewed it for a supersized fourth season anyway. Will the numbers keep falling? Cancelled or renewed for a fifth season? Stay tuned.Vikings takes place in the brutal and mysterious world of Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel), a Viking warrior and farmer who yearns to explore (and raid) the distant shores across the ocean. The rest of the large cast includes Katheryn Winnick, Clive Standen, Gustaf Skarsgård, Alyssa Sutherland, Linus Roache, Alexander Ludwig, Ben Robson, Moe Dunford, Lothaire Bluteau, Jasper Paakkonen, Kevin Durand, Jennie Jacques, Peter Franzen, Morgane Polanski, Amy Bailey, Dianne Doan, and John Kavanagh.Read More…...

Vikings' complex portrayal of its women characters continues to fascinate and inspire in season three episode four, Scarred...
This review contains spoilers.
3.4 Scarred
This week is a prime example of why I love Vikings.
As I discussed elsewhere, a series that depicts a warrior culture sets up the expectation that the focus will be on fighting rather than on the other aspects of that culture—a trap that Vikings has avoided quite nicely. Of course, in such cultures (and especially in a series which includes first contact between two warrior cultures: those of medieval Scandinavia and Britain), the main business of life is the struggle for power. But as this week’s episode of Vikings makes clear, the most dangerous of skirmishes need not be fought on the battlefield.
Power isn’t, after all, about force. It’s about control. Almost everyone in Scarred is trying to exercise or extend their control.

Vikings, Season 2, Episode 8, “Boneless”
Written by Michael Hirst
Directed by Kari Skogland
Airs Thursdays at 10pm Est on History
Boneless, titled for Ragnar’s latest son, is a stand-out offering from a largely sure-footed series; crammed with glorious portent of battle (and battle scene alike), and flinty farewells backed up against luxuriously shot love scenes. Moreover, all the loose plot-threads are carefully spliced into one another; without any loss of gravitas or mood, too. Is some of this hyperbole?
Possibly — but that’s in the nature of most reviews. The History Channel, however, is touting the final two episodes of the season as the most explosive yet; when all characters and themes will most likely cohere into an impossible-to-ignore ending.
Only Floki, for reasons that have not yet been unravelled, chooses not to sail with Ragnar to battle. A quick parsing of Vikings sites and comment threads reveal the shared...

*spoiler alert Director: Jeffery Scott Lando. Writer: David Reed. Cast: Eddie McClintock, Amy Bailey and Christian Hammerdorfer. SyFy Network must have decided that no tagline is required with a title like the Boogeyman. This latest offering does not really stand out from a line of films that includes a version from Stephen King and Stephen Kay. If one isn’t enough, apparently Kay’s version was interesting enough to spawn two more films. Just how one amorphous creature managed to spawn into a huge line of unrelated films is as perplexing as this latest incarnation. With what writer David Reed tries to do is to relate the legend of Cain and Abel, Adam and Eve’s first children, into the lore of what kinds of monsters can torment young adults if they do not behave. His tale does not instill the fear of God amongst the masses. When Sheriff Michael’s (Eddie McClintock) two sons,...
