Born in Spain to Korean missionary parents, Sara is a woman of three languages and even more talents. She was 21 and fresh out of studying development and political science at the University of California, Los Angeles, when she flew to South Korea to join a K-pop girl group called S Blush, whose debut single, "It's My Life," reached #2 on the U.S. Billboard charts in the Hot Dance Club Play category in 2007. the group disbanded just a year later.
