Marisa Martin is a filmmaker based in Canberra, Australia. After graduating from the University of Canberra with a communications degree in Media/Multimedia production in 2003, she set up EoR Media: Enemies of Reality, a small production house, where she still produces and directs media content.
Starting with a few award winning shorts, corporate and commercial work followed, building her name by running local film events, such as the Canberra Short Film Festival and Lights! Canberra! Action!
Marisa splits her production time between animation and live action projects and has directed leading Australian actors including Noni Hazlehurst, Xavier Samuel, Laura Brent, Gigi Edgley, Inge Hornstra & Paul McDermott and her films have screened at FlickerFest, St Kilda Film Festival and the New York International Short Film Festival.
Marisa has also been a member of the ScreenACT Industry Taskforce Panel and a member of the artsACT Peer Assessment Committee for Film and Digital Media funding.
