- Arle Michel is an entertainer's entertainer! Actress, Singer, Writer, Producer, Songwriter, Host, Voiceover Talent, Dancer, Model and all-around girl next door. Born in the very rural south, her family moved to Atlanta, Georgia to find better opportunities and exposure experiences for their family of four. While Arle always knew that she was a 'Creative', it would take her a more winding road to lead her back to where she belonged. Her brother Bobby V. found his love for the stage with his blazing and phenomenal vocals, at an early age; but Arle took a more intricate route. She began her love of the Arts by being selected to All-State chorus in 5th grade. When the high school was doing a production of Disney Live, Arle confidently and proudly took over the role that another little boy was too fearful to play (the character was a boy with a lisp and a song with lots of "r's" and the name Raymond). Arle was bitten by the 'Performance Bug' for sure. She would go on to sing with the 'big kids' in The Bernstein Mass, the following semester. That same year, Arle was blessed to find her love for dance. After being enrolled in Spelman College's Summer Dance Program (they learned synchronized swimming too - how cool!), she realized that she was enthralled in this art form too. She would later try her hand at more acting when she took classes at the Alliance Theater. Even though Arle obtained various degrees (a Masters Degree in Counseling, which she used to help nurture and educate at-risk students and then later earning a Juris Doctorate), she always found herself back in a place that she loved; Arlewood - the land of entertainment!.
Arle was discovered at an Actor's Showcase, the culminating activity for her acting class and everything seemed to click; but Arle would find herself leaving the entertainment business for a few years to regroup. She earned her Law Degree and ultimately tried to force herself to fit into "societal norms", which is akin to using a powerful fire hose to wash your face...it just doesn't work. So with Law Degree in hand and passion in her heart, she found a different talent representative, began auditioning again and refuses to look back. Arle knows that the academic degrees and work experiences will be positively used for the myriad of roles that she will be asked to become and her firsthand knowledge of these skills will serve her well.
Born to bring out the best in everyone through entertainment, Arle has had an opportunity to record a single at 16, sing background vocals for her brother in the R & B genre and several demo CD's in the gospel genre. She and her brother recorded a Christmas classic, "Gloria, In Excelsis Deo", for their church's Christmas CD (and produced a video as well) and Arle appears on several songs on that same CD. Arle is also one of the lead vocalists and the choreographer for a phenomenal corporate band, Perfect 10 Band, that travels the globe to bring music to the world.
Her greatest work was being the Host of her own web-based internet show, 'Welcome 2 Arlewood', where she encouraged the "Stars and Starlets" to sit back, relax and enjoy the show! Welcome 2 Arlewood was a cross between In Livin' Color and Live with Kelly and her co-hosts and was full of laughs. Arle has aspirations of bringing that show back and several other show, movie and book ideas are floating around in her head.
When she is not creating her show, singing on stage, acting in some great play, movie or sitcom, she is spending time with family and friends and making everyday count in the lives of those students who are in need, through her devotion to scholars from less fortunate backgrounds.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Arlewood Media Works
