Katie Halliday began her career in the sound world in 2008 in Toronto, where she accumulated multiple awards and accolades. She started out working a lot in horror on such films as the Saw franchise movies and television shows such as Guillermo del Toro's The Strain. In 2016, she moved to Los Angeles and continued her successful career in sound designing on such shows as Stranger Things, of which she has received two Primetime Emmys for her work. She expanded to supervising on an array of works. She resides in Los Angeles and works as a Supervising Sound Editor and Sound Designer.
