Ursula Rose Rochester

Ursula Rose Rochester is a Costume Designer, Costume Ager and Dyer, and Set Costumer. Ursula spent her childhood in New Zealand and has lived and travelled around the world, immersing herself in diverse cultures. This has influenced and fueled her love for art, textiles, pattern, color, style, and her own fearless creativity and passion for her work. Her unique process is rooted in the ideology that color and texture harmonize in a costume and speak a creative language that not only supports each character's development through the arc of a story, but is critical to the viewer's visual experience of a character's narrative. Ursula enjoys all genres of film, and has worked on period pieces, fantasy, re-enactments, tv series, rom-coms and indies (both big budget and passion projects). She approaches each job as an opportunity for collaboration and nurturing creative vision, as well as further developing expertise in her craft.
