Kathleen De Boer

Kathleen DeBoer grew up in NYC and Fairfield County, CT where she attended Greens Farms Academy for seven years. There she regularly sang and acted in musical theatre. in 1973 she went to Harvard where she studied Economics and continued to sing in choral groups. After graduation she lived in Boston, New York, Nanjing, China( where she acted in Man Behind the Sun: The Nanjing Massacre). She is the author of a travel memoir, Last Summer with Sal, and several screenplays,:Agnes Smedley's China( 2001), Mr. Wang Comes to America(2016), and Man at Third(2018). She lives in Tucson Arizona.
