Jasmine Monique Garcia is an American actress born and raised in Southern California, United States. She is 2nd generation Mexican-American.
Her mother is a junior high school administrator and her father is a mechanic and electrician.
Growing up, Jasmine played soccer and danced. At the age of 19, she left community college after her first year to enroll in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts WEST in Hollywood, Ca. where she started her training. She has trained at the Playhouse West in Los Angeles, Ca. with many great teachers, one including Mark Pellegrino.
In her recent film role in the period drama, Dark Arrows, Jasmine plays a Native Queen / Matriarch for a disenfranchised Native American tribe. She has played multiple dramatic supporting roles in feature films. Her recent role on "P.K.'s" is that of the wife of a minister and the mother of 6 multi-ethnic / adopted children.
