Diya Eid is Development Producer at Orange Entertainment Co. She is Producer on the dark comedy SXSW premiering feature film Audrey (W: Lou Sanz, D: Natalie Bailey), a co-production with Invisible Republic, Development Producer on ABC comedy series White Fever (W: Ra Chapman, D: Aidee Walker), a co-production with Black Sheep Films and Unruly Productions and Associate Producer on Nine Network documentary series Missing Persons Investigation, a co-production with Southern Pictures.
She is also a writer with a number of series and features in development. In 2024, Diya's script Happy Place made the longlist for the John Hinde Award and in 2022 she was shortlisted for the Monte Miller Award for In Your Dreams, a supernatural mystery series pilot she co-wrote.
In her previous role as Screen Queensland's Head of Content, Diya managed investment in film, series, games and helped create over 100 talent development programs for the local screen industry. Diya has overseen the development and production of award-winning scripted and factual content including with Stan, SBS, ABC, Audible, Wattpad, SXSW, Screamfest LA and, La Boite Theatre Co, including as EP of two chart-topping Audible series (Winding Road and Beyond Strange Lands) and a number of international award-winning shorts.
