Raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, Catherine graduated Summa Cum Laude
with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Mass Communication and Spanish
Language and Literature from North Carolina State University. The
faculty named her Outstanding Graduate in the Communication Department.
Following graduation, Catherine was selected as an Academy of Television Arts and Sciences intern for the hit television series Home Improvement. Upon completion of the internship, Catherine received a job offer with the show's production company (Wind Dancer Production Group) in the development department. She provided administrative and creative support for development executives, writers and producers. Additionally, she assisted the executive producers of Home Improvement during the show's final season. Catherine also had the pleasure of working with Emmy-nominated writer/actor Paul Reiser (Mad About You) developing pilots for NBC, CBS and FX.
In 2007, Catherine began pursuing work below-the-line as a script supervisor. She has worked on several independent features, numerous national commercials and over 30 shorts and webisodes. Her work includes many projects with the American Film Institute. In May 2011, Catherine became a member of IATSE Local 871. She is available to work on both union and non-union projects.
