The cancelations continue ahead of the holiday weekend.
Amazon has axed a trio of scripted series from its Prime Video service: The Horror of Dolores Roach, Harlan Coben’s Shelter, and With Love are all ending.
The Horror of Dolores Roach and Harlan Coben’s Shelter ran for one season, while With Love is ending after two seasons.
They are the latest cancelations at the streamer over the last few months following shows such as The Peripheral and A League of Their Own, which had both been renewed before those decisions were reversed.

Todd Grinnell and Isis King, who both star in the show With Love, discussed trans visibility and the development of their relationship on season two of the show in their new exclusive uInterview for LGBTQ Pride Month.
Grinnell, who plays Dr. Miles Murphy, explained how their relationship has evolved between seasons one and two.
“We started season one as we did in the relationship like we’re getting to know each other and it was all kind of new and there was a lot of learning and growing,” he told uInterview founder Erik Meers. “And so in season two we really see the evolution of the relationship and we get into more, I think, even more honesty between Miles and Sol. But ultimately the love, I think, strengthens even more throughout season two and Miles brings Sol more into his, you know, life.”
King’s character, Sol, has a different perspective on season two.

After closing the book on her splendid revival of “One Day At a Time,” creator Gloria Calderón Kellett is back with another series focused on new hilarious family. “With Love” holds commonalities with “One Day,” predominately in that both are about an intergenerational Latino family, but the Amazon Prime Video series finds even richer and deeper avenues to explore.
Each episode takes place on a different holiday across one year in the lives of the Diaz clan. Lily and her brother Jorge are approaching relationships from opposite sides. Starting on Christmas Eve, Lily has broken up with her boyfriend (and then failed to get him back), while Jorge is embarking on a new romance with the level-headed Henry (Vincent Rodriguez III). As each holiday approaches, we see the pair embark on a fresh set of challenges that, coupled with other events their relatives are going through, help inform their emerging identities.

Any show juggling multiple relationship dynamics gives itself the gift of possibility and the challenge of balancing it all at once. While it gets to tell several stories instead of relying on just one, some characters can easily fall through the cracks, or else become far less compelling when weighed against the others. Such is the case for “With Love,” a new Amazon Prime Video rom-com series from Gloria Calderón Kellett (“One Day at a Time”) that shines bright in some narratives and falls disappointingly flat in others.
Over five episodes, each unfolding over the course of a different holiday, “With Love” follows four interlocking couples as they fall in, out of, and back in love. Connecting them all are members of the Diaz family, a sprawling but tightly knit group with a lot of love, and more than a few codependent dynamics. The season details almost a full year of their lives,...

The cast of Zola stepped out in full force for the LA screening of the highly anticipated film on Tuesday. Director Janicza Bravo, Riley Keough, Colman Domingo, Dave Franco, and Nelcie Souffrant all hit the red carpet together, and they were even joined by the real-life Zola herself, A'Ziah King. Also in attendance were Jodie Turner-Smith, Isis King, Arlo Parks, and several other stars.
Noticeably absent, though, was Taylour Paige, as she's currently in Bulgaria. However, she did take a moment to celebrate the film's release on Twitter. What most people don't realize is that Isis King was still at the beginning of her transition when she was thrust into the spotlight on America's Next Top Model in 2005. At the time, she had to try to navigate through the world as a public figure without money. While it may have been tough, she told Popsugar she persevered by reminding herself that "people are counting on you, so you can't give up, you can't give in, and you just have to keep making it, because it's going to continue to inspire people." Isis is both an icon and a role model, and to many, seeing her on their screens was the first time they felt represented.

While this year’s Emmy Awards had a 33% increase in Black nominees, there were still many groups who were underrepresented or not recognized at all.
To mark the importance of such recognition moving forward, Ana’s Alliance for Inclusive and Multicultural Marketing – Aimm – partnered with Billy Porter, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Daniel Dae Kim, Isis King, Jamie Chung and Nicole Scherzinger to create a PSA challenging the entertainment industry to increase diverse and accurate cultural representation in programming and advertising. An extension of Aimm’s #SeeALL movement, television viewers are being driven to participate through a dedicated social campaign.

Following “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling’s anti-trans tweets earlier this week – and her further defense of her comments in a 3,600 word essay – alums of the incredibly successful film franchise as well as other celebrities have publicly spoken out against the British writer.
Most recently, Emma Watson, who played Hermione Granger in the series, tweeted a short statement regarding her views on transgender rights. “Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren’t who they say they are,” Watson wrote.

In one of the first episodes of the eleventh cycle of America’s Next Top Model, the supermodel hopefuls were all buzzing and talking about one particular contestant by the name of Isis King. In one particular moment, amidst all the curiosity, when they were gossiping with shifty eyes, one girl called over the woman in question and asked her, “Are you all…female?” With nothing to hide, she answered, “Physically was I born female? No.” This apparently triggered a mix of reactions from the girls. One of them seemed offended and said, “Ain’t this supposed to be a girl competition — how did you get through the door?” Meanwhile, another contestant commended Isis for standing in her truth. But the support was nearly eclipsed by the shock that came off as playground mockery from the other girls with one contestant named Clark saying, “If I have to get along with Isis I will,...

Ava DuVernay pulled an unexpected surprise with her Netflix limited series, “When They See Us,” about the notorious Central Park 5 jogger case, giving special attention to the Korey Wise (Jharrel Jerome) prison ordeal in the Part 4 finale, cut by her go-to editor Spencer Averick.
After introducing the five Harlem youths and their families in the first three parts, taking us through their horrific loss of innocence and freedom as a result of racial and social injustice from police and prosecution alike, culminating with the release of the four youngest ex-cons, DuVernay turned inward with a mini-movie about Wise’s brutal incarceration in adult prison for more than a decade, spent primarily in solitary confinement.
Wise always maintained that it was the Central Park 4 Plus 1. And now we learn why. He was the odd boy out, who wasn’t even present at the Central Park scene of the crime in 1989, but...
