Michelle Calloway is an accomplished actor, screenwriter, and founder of Luluh Films, a creative production company. Born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa, Michelle's early artistic inspirations came from icons like Bette Midler, Jessica Lange, and Gena Rowlands, along with photographers Annie Leibovitz, Richard Avedon, Nan Goldin, and Mary Ellen Mark. Of Cornish descent, Michelle began her artistic journey through photography at a young age.
Michelle attended Columbia College Chicago, where she pursued her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography. It was during this time that she first stepped onto a film set as a set photographer. Her experience on the film Megafault in Davenport, Iowa, prompted her to move to Los Angeles to work for a major production company as their full-time photographer.
Throughout her early career, Michelle worked as a still photographer and freelance photographer. Eventually, she transitioned to working in front of the camera. This experience sparked her passion for acting and screenwriting, leading to her signing with her first talent agent.
Michelle is based in Jacksonville, Florida, and is the proud mother of her son, Sawyer.
