Elena Khanga is a journalist, TV and radio presenter who is familiar to viewers from popular Russian television programs. In addition, she is famous as the first Soviet journalist who was invited to Boston on exchange, where the presenter got a job in the reputable American newspaper Christian Science Monitor.
Elena Khanga was born in Moscow. Elena went to a special school with in-depth English, and after graduating from school she entered the Moscow State University at the Faculty of Journalism. After graduating from Moscow State University, the journalist completed an internship at New York and Harvard universities. Soon, the girl decided that she wanted to get another higher education, and entered the psychotherapist at the University of New York.
After an internship in America, Elena Khanga began working with Dmitriy Zakharov, Vladislav Listyev and Aleksandr Lyubimov at the VID television company. In 1993, she was invited to the NTV channel to work as a sports correspondent and report on the Atlanta 1996: Games of the XXVI Olympiad (1996). In 1997, the TV presenter appeared in Leonid Parfyonov's new program "About this". At first, Elena Khanga refused, as it was a program on very frank and risky topics, but Parfyonov convinced her that the program was doomed to success. With the program "About this", Lena's television career began to take off: she entered the Book of Records, and The New York Times wrote about her. But in 3 years, the program was closed, as it had completely exhausted itself. Soon Elena was expecting a new proposal. In 2001, she was invited to become the host of the Printsip domino (2001) program, which she hosted first with Elena Ishcheeva, and then with Dana Borisova. The program, which talked about what surrounds a person in this life, was quite successful.
She also tried herself as an actress. She took her first steps in cinema as a child - the first role of Elena Khanga happened in 1970 in the film Black Sun (1971). Later, she appeared in the films Novye skazki Shakherezady (1987) and Poslednyaya noch Shakherezady (1988).
