Clay Edmund Kraski is an American Actor, writer and host. He is best known for
roles such as Agent Jones in Kill The Messenger, Captain Jim Grant in NCIS: New Orleans, and Bill Stafford in Coma. He has also been the host of several HGTV vignettes, commercials, as well as the host for the TV show Rock Planet.
Kraski was born and raised in the small beachfront surf community of Ormond Beach Florida to an Irish Catholic family and the son of a dentist. He is the youngest of three children and the grandson of Polish and Irish immigrants. His grandfather was the original inventor of the flip down goggles for welding.
Kraski served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps and later as a human organ and tissue recovery surgical team-leader for over a decade, procuring for transplant as well as research i.e. Cystic Fibrosis, cardiomyopathy and dementia. He has raised horses for much of his life, and is an avid explorer, traveling extensively throughout much of the world. "It's only through travel and the engagement of others that we truly discover who we are," he has stated on occasion.
Kraski was first drawn into the arts at an early age where he primarily dabbled within the theater and continued lightly through University, but it wasn't until later that he fully committed to the craft. He has had roles in The Change Up, Coma, NCIS: New Orleans, Kill The Messenger and most recently cast as FBI Agent Styles in the highly anticipated Tupac Shakur film: All Eyes on Me, alongside Danai Guria and Jamie Hector.
