- Jonas Hämmerle was born on 4 January 1998 in Ditzingen-Heimerdingen. Growing up in Berlin, he attends and graduates from the German-American John-F.-Kennedy School. After taking a gap year, he studies Film & Television and Theatre Studies at the University of Glasgow.
In his spare time he practices a lot of sport. He plays tennis, baseball, dances, and has also practiced gymnastics for a long time in his youth. Another passion is music. At school, Jonas plays the cello, trumpet, euphonium, and electric bass guitar in the orchestra and band, alongside being part of the choir.
At the age of eight he apply to a children's casting agency and quickly got the chance to play in a TV commercial for a car manufacturer. The following year he acted in his first leading role in the family drama Vater aus Liebe (2008). In 2008, he made his cinema debut appearing with Oliver Korittke and Michael Roll in the fantasy movie Das Morphus-Geheimnis (2008).
