Aleksey Komashko is a Russian theater and film actor.
Aleksey was born in Zaporozhye. In his early childhood, he lived with his family not far from the circus; they regularly attended performances, at which Aleksey especially admired the clowns. After his parents' divorce, he moved with his mother to another area and cinema became his hobby. During his school years, he began to study ballroom dancing under the guidance of his future mother-in-law, Tatyana Vakhrusheva. In high school, he even worked as a dancer at a local restaurant. Also, towards the end of school, he began to attend a theater studio, where he finally decided on the choice of his future profession. True, the path to it was not so short. At first, Aleksey received the profession of a graphic designer. And only then did he go to the theater department of the Saratov State Conservatory of L. Sobinova, which he graduated in 2005. As a third-year student, he became a laureate of a prize established by the famous actor Evgeniy Mironov. Mironov also advised Oleg Tabakov to take a closer look at Aleksey Komashko, and soon the actor received an offer from Tabakov's theater studio. Since 2005 he became an actor in this theater.
Since 2006, he has acted in films, making his debut in the melodrama Almazy na desert (2006). He played his first leading role (Dzheka) in the action adventure film Aziat (2008) directed by Aleksey Kozlov. Notable works were in the military drama Apostol (2008) (cadet Dovilaitis) and the melodrama Tsyganki (2009) (boxer Pavel), Night Swallows (2013) (Captain Novikov).
Aleksey Komashko really gained widespread fame and popularity thanks to his leading role in the crime drama Tulskiy Tokarev (2010) directed by Aleksey Muradov, based on the novel of the same name by Andrey Konstantinov. He played operative Artur Tulskiy.
