Emma was nominated for a Palme d'Or at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival and won many awards worldwide including Best Short Film at the Edinburgh Film Festival in 2009. That year she was also named one of Screen International's Stars of Tomorrow.
She has MA in Fiction Direction from the Nation Film and Television School UK, an MA in Communication, Art & Design from the Royal College of Art, and a BA Hons in Fine Art from Central St Martin's College of Art & Design.
