Meredith Bailey

Meredith Bailey spent most of her 20s working as a professional actor on the stages and film sets of Western Canada. A fascination for storytelling and the desire for a dental plan lured her back to school. Bailey graduated from the University of King's College with a bachelor of journalism in 2011. Since then, her writing as appeared in publications from coast-to-coast including Shambhala Sun, Mindful.org, Where magazine and Avenue Magazine, where she also works full-time as assistant editor. Bailey is also a yoga teacher. She teaches twice a week, and keeps one toe firmly rooted in the theatre, appearing on Calgary's stages once every few years.
