Theresa Meeker Pickett is a content creator who works in advertising. When she was a sophomore in college, she began freelancing on sets for movies and television shows in Nashville, New York, and Los Angeles, earning credits behind the scenes as a producer, casting director, and publicist as well as on camera as an actress. She worked both as a blogger and teacher until 2020, when she created the curriculum for the most popular and highly-rated virtual American Girl movie making camp for children during the pandemic. In her class, 645 students created original films and shared them in a red carpet premiere celebration. In 2023, she combined her love of travel and cuisine with her passion for creativity, and she began marketing Howard County Tourism Council Inc., or Visit Howard County, in Maryland. She earned a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Vanderbilt University and a BA in History from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. She is of Italian/Sicilian (from her maternal grandparents), English, and Scottish descent.
