Over the last fifteen years, Daniel Ramirez-Suarez (aka Dan Ramirez) has filmed, developed and produced content for ABC, NBC, PBS, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, VICE, ESPN and NatGeo, including shows from Law and Order to Ice Road Truckers. After working on back to back Emmy-nominated productions (PBS's History Detectives, ESPN's Muhammed Ali three-part series documentary, and Ice Road Trucker's), Daniel set his sights on documentary film and advertising, and went on to build content for American Express Open Business Forum, Ford, Cell South (winner of two Cannes Lions), Mun2, Brand USA, Subway and bands like Monsters of Folk, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds. Daniel has contributed on several stories for the Guardian UK newspaper, including breaking coverage of the WikiLeaks reportage, and has photographed for the likes of Travel & Leisure, Penguin Books, and varied literary publishing houses. Daniel spent three years as Creative Director of the social justice advocacy media organization, NMAP: New Media Advocacy Project, where his work garnered MacArthur and Ford Foundation grants. After collaborations with Joss Whedon and Robert Rodriguez, Daniel has shifted to the development of scripted stories while continuing to produce and direct documentaries of teams and athletes such as Kobe Bryant, Sergio Ramos, Odell Beckham Jr, the Brazil National team, Chivas of Guadalajara, and Michael Strahan.
