Vasilis Katsikonouris (who also wrote its screenplay adaptation for
George Siougas's film
Burning Heads (2011)), directed by Nikos Mastorakis at the National Theatre of Greece. The award was established in 2001 by the director and actor
Stamatis Fasoulis, and it is conferred annually for best performance to a young actor distinguished in the preceding theatre season.
