As we approach the final episode of Agatha All Along, many mysteries have been solved, and we now know the identities of several characters that were unclear when the show first began.

One of the biggest mysteries was who Aubrey Plaza’s character, Rio Vidal, really is. Fans initially thought she might be Mephisto’s son, Blackheart, but her true identity was revealed first through a Marvel merchandise leak and then in the show itself.

Today, Prime Video revealed the highly anticipated Burger Mart-inspired teaser trailer, which announced the Invincible Season 3 premiere date. The critically acclaimed adult-animated superhero series is co-produced by Skybound Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios.

“Invincible” Season 3 officially has a premiere date.

Amazon Prime Video has announced that the animated series will return on Feb. 6. The first three episodes of the third season will drop on that date, with new episodes debuting weekly on Thursdays thereafter through March 13.

Amazon has also released a teaser for the new season, which sees Mark (Steven Yeun) getting grilled at Burger Mart by Cecil (Walton Goggins) about his lack of preparations for future Viltrumite attacks. He also pokes fun at the fact the show took an extended break in the middle of its second season.

“And don’t even get me started on your little four month vacation right in the middle of things,” Cecil says. “We all sure loved that.”

Some fans speculated that this show could be connected to the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars. However, Endgame left few options for reintroducing the character, aside from a variant version.

This limited series could satisfy a vocal segment of the community and would make narrative sense, as it would explore events before Steve Rogers created the alternate timeline.

Since then, we hadn’t heard much about the show and assumed the rumor was largely unfounded.

Joss Whedon's large-scale action picture "Avengers: Age of Ultron" was released in theaters in the spring of 2015, and it featured a gaggle of Marvel superheroes teaming up to fight the eponymous evil super-robot. Ultron (voiced by James Spader) was an artificial intelligence accidentally created by Iron Man while he was constructing a global, spacebound security system intended to make superhero-ing easier. Upon achieving consciousness, Ultron spends about two minutes on the internet and instantly decided that humanity needed to be wiped out, shunting its own consciousness into a series of robot bodies and going about its wicked business. The Avengers, naturally, smash up all the Ultron bots.

Ultron is destroyed at the end of that film and has only shown up in additional Marvel Cinematic Universe entries in smaller roles since then, including the animated TV show "What If...?" However, Spader will reportedly reprise Ultron for the upcoming "WandaVision...

This animated adaptation of a popular comic is based on a similar principle of parodying mainstream American superhero comics, providing us with a wholly different perspective on what we are used to as far as superheroes are concerned.

At D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Disney+ and Lucasfilm revealed the new trailer and key art for Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, which will begin streaming on September 13, 2024.

Prime Video announced at San Diego Comic-Con that Invincible has been renewed for a fourth season. The announcement was made to thunderous applause at Prime Video's Adapting Fan Favorites: A Conversation with Adult Animation Creators panel.

Season 2 of the fan-favorite cartoon recently concluded on April 4, 2024, and fans have been very curious about news on season 3's release date after a long wait for season 2.

Ross Marquand, the voice actor for The Immortal, previously asserted that season 3 would begin streaming in early 2025. While Prime Video unveiled a new poster with Mark Grayson's new costume at Sdcc, there has been no official confirmation on the third season's release date.

Previously there was a two-year wait between season 1 and season 2, with the second season having a 4-month midseason hiatus. It was previously confirmed that the wait for season 3 would not be as long and that season 3 would not have a midseason hiatus.

Invincible fans endured a torturous two-year wait for Season 2, but their patience was ultimately rewarded. Good news for those dreading another endless hiatus, it looks like the creators have finally heard the prayers. With Season 3 potentially on the horizon sooner rather than later, it seems the wait for more superhero action might not be as excruciating this time around.

Invincible is one of the most critically acclaimed animated shows on television, so it’s no surprise that Prime Video and the team behind the show are mounting an Emmy campaign in the hopes that the series will be recognized at the awards ceremony for the best in the best of television.

We at FandomWire got to sit down with Invincible creator Robert Kirkman to discuss the show’s explosive season 2, why he thinks less familiar forms of animation like Invincible deserve the spotlight, and even a little bit about what fans should expect from the upcoming season 3.

The "X-Men '97" season 1 finale, the three-part epic "Tolerance is Extinction," ended in shocking fashion. The big bad Bastion sent Asteroid M on a collision course with Earth, deciding to force humanity into extinction rather than evolution. Professor X, unable to not see the good in Magneto, even after his frenemy's torturous attack on Wolverine, pulls Erik back to the light with a telepathic therapy session. The X-Men, once more including Magneto, save the world. But then they vanish, pulled through time to the past, future (Cyclops and Jean), and parts unrevealed. The past X-Men, stranded in Egypt, circa 3000 BC, meet a grey-skinned mutant that fans will certainly recognize.

Before crafting the likes of Thanos and Killmonger, who are often considered some of the top Cbm villains, the MCU often struggled to get their villains right, which was apparent in their initial phases. However, the biggest exception during the cinematic giant’s early years was Red Skull, played by Hugo Weaving, who did an impeccable job playing the Hydra head.

Unfortunately, despite having a blast playing the character, Weaving didn’t return to reprise the role in Avengers: Infinity War and was replaced by The Walking Dead star Ross Marquand. Although The Matrix star has cited paycheck disputes as the reason for not returning in Infinity War and Endgame, economics doesn’t seem to be the lone reason behind his absence.

It was 1992 when Magneto said an iconic line in the original animated show X-Men: The Animated Series. When the mutants (including Wolverine) chose to get in the Blackbird to face Bolivar Trask and Master Mold to save President Robert Kelly, Magneto considered it a suicide mission.

Well, in the middle chapter of the three-part Tolerance Is Extinction finale, fans finally got to see their much-anticipated moment starring Magneto and Wolverine. The episode also featured one of the show’s most shocking cliffhangers to date. Magneto ripped the Adamantium from Wolverine’s skeleton, indicating a turning point for Logan as we enter season 2.

X-Men ’97 is already nailing everything and scoring an eternal place in its viewers’ hearts, with more than 90% of audiences and nearly 100% of critics impressed by the immaculate way this story has been helmed. Plus, this saga doesn’t seem to want to stop anytime soon, because it already has a season 2 greenlit while the first one still airs, meaning there’s more peak entertainment incoming.

That being said, this peak entertainment could also bring about the possible event of the mutant superheroes fending off against the earth’s mightiest heroes, i.e. the Avengers. And while that is yet to be officially confirmed, Ross Marquand, the actor who plays Professor X in this animated series, has ignited the hope of that happening, nonetheless, with some really relatable reasoning.

X-Men '97 has featured a handful of memorable cameos from some high-profile Marvel characters, including Spider-Man and Captain America.

The latter is best known for leading The Avengers, and with everything this world's mutants are going through - including Magneto seemingly declaring war on humanity - could a clash between them and the X-Men be on the horizon? 

Talking to ComicBook.com (via Toonado.com), Professor X actor Ross Marquand shared his belief that there's "a real chance" the two teams go head-to-head in an animated adaptation of Avengers vs. X-Men. 

"You saw what happened in the last episode [with] Rogue and Captain America," Marquand started. "There's a real chance that that could happen. He can't fly. Captain can't fly. She threw that in the side of a snowy mountain."

The MCU seems to have hit a rough patch lately with its movies. But things have been more positive on the TV side, with WandaVision, Loki, and Moon Knight garnering universal acclaim. The latest win for the franchise takes the form of X-Men ’97, a continuation of the classic animated X-Men series from 1997.

The show has been praised by fans and critics for staying true to the spirit of the original series while also feeling modern and fresh. In a recent episode, X-Men ’97 pulled off an important scene that could have major repercussions, not just for its characters but the MCU as a whole. In fact, a recent interview with one of the cast members of the show hinted at how the scene could lead to a showdown between the X-Men and the Avengers.

You may not remember that the original "X-Men" cartoon from 1992 kicked off a flurry of '90s Marvel cartoons sometimes known as "The Marvel Animated Universe." This universe is less well known than the contemporary DC Animated Universe ("Batman: The Animated Series" up to "Justice League Unlimited"). The DC cartoons were overseen by a single creative team, so the connections were organic and culminated in story arcs. The Marvel cartoons, though? They all aired simultaneously (rather than in succession like the DC ones) and had different creators, so the most intersection was occasional crossovers.

"X-Men '97" remains laser-focused on the marvelous mutants, but it hasn't been shy about including cameos from other corners of the Marvel Comics setting. Episode 6, "Lifedeath – Part 2" featured Ronan The Accuser (you might remember him as the villain in "Guardians of the Galaxy"). Episode 7, "Bright Eyes," saw Rogue butt heads with Captain America.

Could Invincible be getting more seasons on Prime Video? According to Skybound Republic, an investment/crowdfunding site that allows fans to invest in the label, more episodes of the ultra-violent comic book action series are coming. In a since-deleted portion of the webpage, the site said Invincible Season 3 is in production, while the show had been renewed for Seasons 4 and 5. The webpage promotes a video game set in the Invincible universe, which fans can help fund. The crowdfunded project sits at $442,700 as of this posting, with 14 days to go in the campaign.

A portion of the mission statement for the campaign describes why making a video based on a licensed property causes some problems:

“Most crowdfunded video games are centered around indie games, and retail investors rarely have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of Aaa game publishers. Skybound is developing a highly produced, high-octane blood bath that is anything but indie.

Marvel’s Avengers can be described as many things, but a successful game is not one of them, and the live service structure that Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics went with is one of the culprits. Failing to achieve the same success as the live-action films from the MCU, the game had the potential to improve where the films lacked, but it turned out to be a major disappointment.
