Occasionally performs as a singer in cabaret nightclubs when not filming.

After attending an open call audition, spent several days in front of a panel of judges and made the final cut of a select few to perform in Julie Taymour's Broadway production of "Spiderman: Turn off the Dark" in New York. Though she was not cast in the end, she describes it as being one of the most artistically fulfilling experiences of her career so far.

Was a pole dance instructor when starting out as an actor.

Has a twin sister named Erin.

Was accepted to study psychology as an Honours student at the University of Victoria, but left school when she booked a role in a touring National theatre production instead.
