According to a new report from Comicbookmovie.com and their sources, Orlando Bloom, who starred in the first three "Pirates of The Caribbean" movies, is claiming that this 5th installment, may just be a total reboot all together, and that he's currently in talks to come back to the franchise. Orlando told the press: "I’m not entirely sure that I'll be back just yet, but there are talks. Basically, they want to reboot the whole franchise, I think, and do something with me and the relationship with my son. I’m of course Davey Jones now, so I’m down the bottom of the ocean. It might be kind of fun to do something where I’m rumbling round the bottom of the ocean, because I won’t look anything like me." Additionally, it's also reported that five young actresses are currently auditioning to play the love interest for Thwaites' character.

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve been gradually hearing more and more about the status of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, including casting decisions and the actresses who have been shortlisted for the female lead. But according to one former star of the franchise, the fifth entry into Disney’s maritime adventure may act as a complete overhaul for the series.
Speaking to IGN, Orlando Bloom — who played a key role in the first three films as Will Turner — revealed that there have been talks of rebooting the franchise to give it a much-needed lease of life following 2011’s middling On Stranger Tides.

It’s been less than a week, people.
The first person to own an iPhone 6 proceeded to immediately drop it on live TV. We thought this was just a fluke, maybe we should have considered it a precedent.
Because the iPhone 6 has been out for only a few days and people already broke theirs (though, to be fair, 14 out of a record-breaking 10 million sold isn’t so bad). Usually we would want photographic proof, but we can't handle seeing that many beautiful, beautiful, broken iPhones.
(But for anyone who doesn’t have an upgrade available for another eight months, or my people who have been dealing with a broken iPhone 3 while people who have perfectly functional iPhone 5S buy that 6 Plus, or anyone who just hates hearing iPhones fans talk about their iPhones, this one is for you.)

This morning during their E3 2014 press conference, Microsoft announced that a new Crackdown game was being developed for the Xbox One. With franchise creator David Jones at the helm, this is definitely worth getting excited about.
Though details are scare, a brief trailer was shown off that gave us a taste of some wacky looking action, colourful neon visuals and a bit of dark humor. Of course, we don’t get any actual gameplay footage here, but what’s on display is definitely enough to make me want more. In addition to the trailer, Microsoft also offered the following description, which is most definitely tantalizing:
“This is a new iteration of the groundbreaking open-world action series that features a whole new campaign — fully playable in co-op — and uses Xbox Live to power a city that isn’t just an exciting place to play, but is a part of your destructive arsenal.

Nominations for the 41st Annual Annie Awards were announced and "Frozen" and "Monsters University" led the pack with 10 nominations each. "Despicable Me 2" and "The Croods" followed closely with 9 noms each.
I am rooting for "Frozen" to win! It's a return to form to what Disney does best -- affecting fairy tale with memorable musical numbers. "Monsters University," on the other hand, was bland. The film bored me on second viewing.
Steven Spielberg will receive the Winsor McCay Award for career achievement at the awards ceremony happening on Saturday, Feb. 1, at Royce Hall on the UCLA campus. Patrick Warburton will serve as host.
