Othello Rensoli

Othello Rensoli, was born on April 22, 1962 in the ultramarine town of
Regla, Havana City, Cuba, where he spent his childhood and adolescence.
His work as an actor began in Cuba at the age of 19, leading to important works of the Cuban and universal theatre performances in the theatre Group Paco Alfonso. At the age of 20 he combined his work with the theatre and the television, in groups such as the "Olga Alonso".
His professional cinema debut was in 2007 when the Hollywood Film Director, Steven Soderbergh, and Hollywood Film Producer Laura Bickford chose him, to play Harry Villegas "Pombo" in the Hollywood movies, "Che, The Argentinian" and "Che, Guerrilla", led by Benicio del Toro, giving a beginning to his international cinematography career.
In 2008 directed by Sigfrid Monleon, he worked together with Jordi Molla; in the film "The consul of Sodoma" where he played the character, James Baldwin, an important Afro-American writer, friend of "Jaime Gil de Biedma".
