Austin Scott was born on June 25, 1985 in Orlando, Florida to
Jim and Mary Scott.
He started acting at 10 and was cast in a number of regional and national commercials in Florida. Right after graduating high school in 2004 and accepting a full scholarship to Florida State University, he was cast as a co-host of Nickelodeon's "Splat! Live". He opted to do the show instead of going to school, and after 3 1/2 months decided to move to Los Angeles.
In 2006, after booking some minor film roles and a few national commercials, he landed a job at 20th Television as an apprentice editor. From there on, editing became his passion and livelihood.
Notable editing credits include MasterChef (FOX), The Masked Singer (FOX), Double Dare (Nickelodeon), The Four: Battle for Stardom (FOX), The World's Best (CBS), and Little Big Shots (NBC).
Notable acting roles include viral sensation "Skittles Newlyweds" and subsequent parody commercial "Reese's Pieces Love Child", and playing the parody of McLovin' twice (Disaster Movie, The 41 Year Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall And Felt Superbad About It).
Austin is a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild Local 700, SAG-AFTRA, NABET-CW 53, and a national active member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
He has two children, Reese and Wilder.
