James Daniel Fields made his directorial film debut with the 2020 released family comedy feature "Magic Max", starring Parker Bates of NBC hit show This is Us. James cast newcomer Lotus Blossom, along with Oscar-nominated actor, Barry Corbin, and the Golden Globe winner, Sally Kirkland. Magic Max won 14 Film Festival Awards including the 2020 Best Family Film at Canadian International Faith & Family Festival, Best Director with Fatherhood Image Award, and Best Cinematographer, DP, Dan Kneece.
