Tomas Weinreb was born in Stod nearby Pilsen (Czech republic). He
cooperates with Petr Kazda. Both of them graduated from the Independent
Film College in Pisek as well as from the Film School of Academy of
Performing Arts (FAMU), from the department of documentary filmmaking
and of scriptwriting respectively.
They have cooperated on several short fiction and documentary student films (e.g. Antero, 2003, Eclipse, 2006, Many men and many women, I and Me, both 2009) that were screened at a number of international festivals. (Con-Can - Japan 2009, Neisse Film Festival 2010 - Germany, Naoussa International Film Festival 2010 Greece, New York International Independent Film and Video Festival 2010 USA etc.).
They have been working on their film I, Olga Hepnarova, which they would like to co-direct.
