From studio engineering with Beatles Producer George Martin as his boss to producing category on LIVE outside Broadcasts for BBC 1 to directing a series of documentaries on Discovery filmed around the world, CRAIG DUNCAN is one of the most versatile TV and documentary filmmakers in the UK. Duncan began his media career following a Post Graduate Diploma at film school in Sheffield from there he was taken on by the BBC as a producer working across multiple departments and genres including The Royal Opera House LIVE shows, BBC Watchdog, Friday Night Armistice, Click, Three Tenors, Jazz 606 and Animal Hospital. His first series was producing, writing and directing a comedy technology series for BBC Knowledge the presenter for which was award-winning writer Charlie Brooker (Black Mirror).
Craig is BBC trained and has produced and directed LIVE performances for BBC 1. As a studio, LIVE outside broadcast producer and director his first role as a series producer was a science and tech series presented by Charlie Brooker. In 2015/2016 Craig series produced and directed a series of 6 x 1hour documentaries for Discovery travelling and filming all over the world. The series has since been broadcast in the UK and the US under several reformatted names including "Inside Secret Societies". In 2016 Craig started producing and directing episodes of the US hit property series "International House Hunters" for Leopard Films USA.
He has also self-shot and produced several daytime shows for the BBC and Channel 4 including:

Outside of TV work Craig is an ambassador for new talent coming through the ever-expanding TV and Film world. He has presented and produced a series of 'Country Walks with Craig Duncan' for Amazon Prime and written books on the broadcasting industry.
Duncan was born in Greenock, Scotland, He was raised in the highlands of Ross-Shire before moving to Yorkshire and eventually London. He is the son of author Rena George & retired journalist Terry Duncan and has a brother and sister, both older.
