Zeke Khaseli (born 1977 as Haris Khaseli Gumelar in Taiwan) is an Indonesian musician and film music composer who has been living and working in New York City for three years. He has shown his scoring work on films at a number of international film festivals such as Cannes, Toronto, and Sundance. Zeke has studied film and music at the Seattle University and New York Film Academy in London. Zeke has made many film scores collaborated with directors, including Mouly Surya, Joko Anwar, Mo Brothers and Mike Willuan. Additionally Zeke has been producing three solo albums, one album "Djakarta Goodbye" with LAIN (2002) and one album "Space in the Headlines" with Zeke and the Popo (2006).
Zeke's scores and songs have made several appearances at prestigious international film festivals such as Cannes, Sundance, Toronto, Berlinalle, Tokyo and Pusan. He was appointed twice to be the main jury of Indonesia Film Festivals and was an Indonesian Film Festival winner for best score in "Fiksi." (2008). In 2013 Zeke (with his partner, Yudhi Arfani) won the best film composer in 56th Asian Film Festival for " What They Don't Talk About When They Talk About Love" (2013) set aside some big names, such as Shigeru Umebayashi with 'Grandmaster,' Taro Iwashiro 'Ask This of Rikyu,' Jay Chou 'The Rofftop' and Shane McLean 'Mt. Zion.'.
Most recently he had just finished score for an HBO series "Grisse" (2018).
