Biography

John Winscher is known for his ability to blur the lines between drama and comedy, resulting in unpredictable and magnetic performances. Classically trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, his versatility extends beyond the stage and screen, with talents in professional dancing, motion capture, stunt choreography, living statue work, and theatrical sword fighting.

Notable credits in film and television include appearances on Netflix's Cobra Kai, HBO's The Righteous Gemstones, The CW's The Vampire Diaries, TNT's Good Behavior, and Hulu's Reprisal.

John is a member of The Exodus Ensemble, an immersive theatre company based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Exodus Ensemble is on the Fall 2024 cover of American Theatre Magazine, and is the winner of Santa Fe's 2024 Mayor's Award for Innovation in the Arts and Best Performance Group in New Mexico by New Mexico Entertainment Magazine.
