Born in Ankara in 1973, Ozgur Yigit received his degree from Bilkent University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Design, in 1997.
In second year of his studies he started 6lti Design Studio with his schoolmates. Their first project was designing and applying an airbrush artwork on two 18 wheeler trucks which are used for advertising tours by Lewi Strauss&Co.
During his studies Yigit worked on several art & design projects, advertisings, corporate identity designs and video art.
Following his graduation, Yigit moved 6lti Design Studio to Istanbul, where they continued designing for major companies such as Inter Cargo, Gural Group, Osram, Coca Cola.
In 1999, Yigit started working in Autopsy Post Production as Flame Artist. Aside from usual online process he had done in TV commercials, he also offered his graphic design skills in packshot designs, desktop movies, as well as designing opening title sequences for two feature films by Sinan Cetin; Commissar Shakespeare and Propaganda.
In 2003, Yigit moved to ABT Post Production House where he continued his career as VFX Supervisor & Artist, mainly working in TV commercials. During his career in ABT, he also worked in four feature films.
In 2004, he worked in ABT and Sinefekt co-project G.O.R.A. as Lead Flame Artist.
In 2006, he worked as Flame Artist in The Net 2.0 by Charles Winkler.
In 2008, he worked as VFX Supervisor & Artist, in Cars of Revolution by Tolga Ornek, winner of Ankara International Fim Festival
And in 2009, he worked in Usta by Bahadir Karatas as VFX Artist.
During his career in ABT, several commercials he worked in as VFX Supervisor & Artist awarded with Crystal Apple Advertising Awards.
In 2008, Akbank Jazz Festival, 'the jazz of the city' spot has won a GOLD EPICA in the 22nd EPICA AWARDS. In same year 'the jazz of the city' has also been the first Turkish commercial to be the finalist in Cannes Lions 2008 and New York International Advertising Awards.
At the beginning of 2010, Yigit moved to 1000Volt Post Production as Online Department Supervisor. He involved in building and updating of DI and Stereoscopic workflows of the company.
In 2010, he worked in Hunting Season by Yavuz Turgul.
In 2011, Yigit worked in Once Upon a Time in Anatolia by Nuri Bilge Ceylan, which won six international awards including Grand Prize of the Jury in Cannes Film Festival 2011
Also in 2011, he worked in Labirent by Tolga Ornek, as VFX Supervisor & Artist.
Aside from these three feature films, Yigit has also worked in over three hundred TV commercials, desktop animations, stereoscopic projects and CGI movies during his career in 1000Volt.
In 2013, Yigit started his own visual effects house, which shortly become popular among clients that are looking for creative solutions to their projects. Yigit delivered three feature films and several TV commercials till today.
In 2015, Yigit became a beta tester for Autodesk Flame software. And he is working on improving the software as a side mission.
